The Photo-Walk Sessions

"The Photo-Walk Sessions" are something new I'm working on. Hopefully I'll get the chance to learn and walk with several photographers. It's a good way to "pick brains", find interesting spots and just take random photos.

Today I had the distinct pleasure of shooting with/getting to know better a local photographer to Columbia, SC.

Brendan and I went to elementary, middle and high school together. We weren't exactly friends, we didn't even really know each other.
It's so neat how things in common can cause people to come together in the future.
Well here we are...in the future.

I also had the pleasure of using his family as models today. They were also awesome.

Brendan is of Hennessee Photography. Yes, I had to look at his last name to spell that correctly. Here's his facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/hennesseephotography

Here are a couple of shots from today.

Techincally speaking:
I HATE shooting during this time of day. However, it was a lot cooler outside. It's just so hard (for me) to expose things correctly in harsh light. More often than not I get this "blown out" look. I'm constantly striving to find a better way to shoot in full on day light.
