The wonders of Adobe Lightroom.

Now, let me just say I like to keep my pictures as close to straight off the camera as I can get.
However, I just bought Adobe Lightroom 4 today. My husband is awesome and is great about letting me get things that progress my hobby.

Anyway, bought Lightroom.
Best decision ever.
It's so easy to organize photos, edit them, and export them.
Why did I not do this sooner?

I used a picture of Peyton (the baby I photographed yesterday) to see what I could do with this editing software.

Amazing. I'm just flat amazed.

Peep this. Same picture...before and after.

I just love that even though I added just one preset, the picture looks more refined and true to what I imagined while taking the picture.

I'm excited to continue working with Lightroom and collecting presets and expertise.
I'm still figuring out what I can do with it, this being my first day ever using it.

The good news is that I can finally say I can edit with something.
